Peanut Butter Delights: By Janet Inscoe (my grandmother)
2 c. sugar
1/4 c. cocoa
1/2 c. milk
4 Tbsp. butter
Mix
all these ingred. and bring to a boil. Boil 45 seconds. Make sure to
get all ingredients measured out first. After removing this from the
stove, add in:
1/2 c. peanut butter
1 tsp. vanilla
dash salt
2 1/2 c. instant oatmeal
Spoon quickly on wax paper. Let cool and enjoy!
You can make these quickly, and its a great snack when your family, neighbors or kids friends pop in unannounced. I make these for bake sales for my kids as members of the JR Volunteer Fire Dept. members. It's always a hit and makes good profit for the department!
